The PuraVida church is putting tangible resources into the hands of the people to combat mental health issues and loss of livelihood due to the current pandemic. Each participating family receives 6 broiler chicks or three laying hens, the initial feed, and coaching on how to raise the chickens and reinvest part of the harvest to create a sustainable food source and income for the families.
